Dog resuscitated at scene of canal boat fire in Weedon
Firefighters resuscitated a dog at the scene of a canal boat fire in Weedon on Saturday.
Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to a canal boat on fire on the Grand Union Canal on Saturday at around 11am.
Fire crews from Daventry and Long Buckby attended.
Firefighters rescued two dogs from the boat and resuscitated one of them before reuniting them both with their owner.
The cause of the fire was an electrical fault within the washing machine.
