A MAN has been bitten on the arm by a dog at the weekend.

It took place between 1pm and 1.05pm in Wimborne Place on the Ashby Fields estate in Daventry on Sunday.

The man was walking his dog along the park area when he noticed two large bulldog/boxer type dogs approach them. The pair of dogs were without their owner.

One of the dogs, believed to be called Frizzle, became aggressive and tried to bite the man’s dog. He tried to reach down to pick up his dog when Frizzle bit him on the arm, scratched his back and caused him to fall to the ground.

The owner of the pair of dogs then appeared and gained control of the dog. The woman is described as around 27, between 5ft 2ins to 5ft 3 ins tall and medium build. She also had long wavy dark brown hair, wore large round bug eye sunglasses, light blue jeans and a black top or jacket.

Frizzle is described as 3ft tall, light brown with white patches while the other dog belonging to the woman may have been called Diesel.
