Councillor Alan Hills, community, culture and leisure portfolio holder at Daventry District Council, said: “This is an excellent chance to showcase the great sporting talent that Daventry district has to offer. It’s also a fabulous opportunity to give recognition to a family member, fellow athlete, club member, club or local group who you feel deserves a public pat on the back for their achievements.”
Club members, volunteers, individual athletes and supporters are encouraged to nominate individuals who have achieved over the last year, whether those achievements have come in their chosen sport or through their tireless work to help their club or school.
