Pupils from Daventry based Kate Fisher Dance Academy raised money for charity when they performed their annual big show.

On Saturday November 28 they performed World in Dance at Daventry Leisure centre, featuring many dances from around the world while wearing fantastic costumes, and the reaction from the audience was fantastic.

£1,070 raised from the show will be donated to Pete Spencer’s Helping Hands charity which offers support to local children with serious illnesses and disabilities, providing specialist equipment and organised activities.

Kate Fisher said: “I’m so proud of all the pupils from the little ones performing in their first show to the experienced dancers who partner in Strictly Daventry. They were all so professional!

“It was a great end to a brilliant year in which pupils had massive Blackpool competition success and 100 per cent exam pass rate.”
