Pregnant woman’s car stolen in Byfield

A HEAVILY pregnant woman was stranded when thieves stole her car on the road between Byfield and Boddington yesterday (Wednesday, August 31).

She stopped by the side of the road between 10.30am and 11,30am when one of the rear tyres of her blue Porsche 911 was flat. The victim, who is nine months pregnant, waited for help when two men in a white Transit van stopped to change the tyre for her.

The passenger of the Transit changed the tyre then jumped into the drivers seat and drove off in her car.

The driver of the transit is described as being aged 40 to 50, overweight with curly unkempt hair and smoking a cigarette.

The passenger is described as being clean shaven, aged between 30 and 40 with a tanned complexion. He was wearing stone washed jeans and a beige checked shirt.
