Man seriously injured in village crash

A man was serious injured after a crash on the A428 near East Haddon.

The crash happened at around 12.30pm on Wednesday July 31, when a white Mini Cooper was travelling towards Northampton, and for reasons yet unknown, left the road, coming to rest on it’s roof.

The 51-year-old man who was a front seat passenger in the vehicle was taken to Walsgrave Hospital with serious injuries.

The woman driving the car was also taken to Walsgrave Hospital but is not believed to have serious injuries.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who may have any information regarding it.
