Jevgenijs Dunhio, aged 29, of Cyril Street, Northampton, stole a handbag worth £69 from Ama Seka store; jailed for two weeks consecutive. Stole chocolate worth £70 belonging to Tesco; jailed for two weeks, ordered to pay a surcharge to victim services of £115, compensation of £70 and costs of £85. Ezra Greig, aged 22, of Grange Road, Northampton, possession of class A with intent to supply; pleaded guilty, sent to Northampton Crown Court for sentence.

Stefan Nani, aged 27, of Skelton Walk, Northampton, failed to comply with a community order; no adujudication dealt with original offence, ordered to pay costs of £60. Concealed or removed criminal property namely £8,771 by means of bank with drawal; jailed for 16 weeks.

Renaldo French, aged 28, of St Leonards Road, Northampton, stole a mobile phone, an iPad Pro and iPod touch from Argos; community order to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work, compensation of £500.

Jack Linford, aged 23, of Greatfield Court, Northampton, had an offensive weapon in a public place, namely a meat cleaver; jailed for eight weeks suspended for 12 months, ordered to pay a surcharge to victim services of £115 and costs of £85.

Alexandra Gayle, aged 37, of Ash Street, Northampton, stole a handbag; jailed for 12 weeks, ordered to pay compensation of £100. JULY 26

Elain Lavery, aged 51, of Ericsson Close, Ashby Fields, Daventry, assault; pleaded guilty, committed to Crown Court for sentence.

Edward Okyne, aged 37, of Snowbell Square, Ecton Brook; driving while banned; jailed for 20 weeks suspended for 24 months, banned from driving for three years. No insurance; no separate penalty.
