Andrew Jenkins (pictured) recycling officer for Cherwell District Council and South Northamptonshire Council, will be joining a team of willing walkers on Saturday to climb Wales’ highest peak in aid of WasteAid UK.

It has been set up by Sally Talbot, from the Local Authority Recycling Advisory Committee (LARAC), to raise funds for the charity.

Andrew said: “Some people think that I am mad for strapping a wheelie bin to my back for the ten-mile round trip, but I am hoping it will inspire people to support the cause.”
