Children can cook up a storm

JUNIOR master chefs can practice their culinary skills with a series of cookery workshops coming up later this month.

Bay Tree Cottage in Farthingstone hosts the cookery lessons designed to improve the skills of youngsters. The workshops are split into two categories, primary school children and teenagers.

For primary school children they can learn about making pizza, chocolate dough balls, cakes, sweets and bread making on a variety of different days between Tuesday August 6 and Friday August 16. The costis £18.50 per workshop for one adult and one child, £3.50 for an extra child with a maximum of three children per adult.

Teenagers from the age of 12 to 16 can find out how to make pies, pastries, home made chocolate, fresh pasta, desserts and party puds. These workshops run from Monday August 5 to Thursday August 15. The cost is £45 per workshops.

Price includes all materials, ingredients and refreshments.
