People will have the chance to raise money for charity at a reverse bungee event in Badby in September.
Over the weekend of September 26 and 27 the bungee launcher – which fires a cage into up to 200ft in the air in less than 1.4 seconds – will be on the cricket ground in the village.
The event is being orgnised by the charity Moonbeam Dreams which raised money for local charities.
Bungee riders need to raise £50 for Moonbeam Dreams, but anything they raise above that can be donated to any charity they wish.
Details on how to sign up can be found atthe group’s website.
Over the two days there will also be a rugby festival with an outdoor cinema screen showing six games from the Rugby World Cup over the two days, including England v Wales. Other events include a tug of war, gladiators, dunk tank, children’s rides, bouncy castle and more, finishing with fireworks on both nights at 9.15pm.
Entry to the rugby festival is £5 per day, and free to those who have raised money to do the reverse bungee challenge.
