A family from Daventry is organising a charity quiz night to raise funds for spinal research.
Andy and Louise Foulds are organising the event on Friday, November 22 at Mayfield Park Social Club in the town.
It is to help raise funds after their son Ben had a cycling accident which resulted in a severe spinal cord injury rendering him paraplegic and in a wheelchair.
He passed away in his sleep from an undiagnosed heart condition totally unrelated to his injury.
There are a number of top prizes for a raffe which will be held on the night.
These include two nights dinner, bed and breakfast at The Best Western Grosvenor Hotel in Stratford upon Avon, Sunday roast for two at The George in Kilsby, tickets to see Northampton Town Football Club.
There is also champagne from Centre Security Innovations in Daventry, coffee and cake for two at The Hideout, plus prizes donated by Costa Coffee, Tesco Daventry and Sainsbury’s in Rugby.
Doors open for the event at 7.30pm and the evening starts at 8pm. Entrance to the event is £2 per person and teams can have up to six people on it.
