DAVENTRY Job Club will be returning to Brixworth this week to help unemployed residents find work.
The job club, run by Daventry District Council (DDC) will be in Brixworth again on Friday, May 18, following its first meeting in the village in October last year.
It is completely free to join the job club and members will receive a free range of advice and support including effective CV writing, interview skills, training courses, help on starting their own business and laptops with free internet access to search for jobs.
DDC chief executive Ian Vincent said: “It’s important that residents in all parts of our district get access to these services and last year’s inaugural meeting in Brixworth was very well received.
“The job club has helped lots of jobseekers get back to work during these tough economic times, and I hope people in the area pay a visit.”
The meeting will be held at Brixworth Library and Community Centre on May 18 from 10.30am to 1pm, and is a free event where everyone is welcome.
