A BURST pipe has left some Daventry homes with low water pressure.
Anglian Water has apologised for any disruption caused to customers after a 12 inch water main burst this morning (Tuesday) on Western Avenue.
Sarah D’Arcy, from Anglian Water, said: “The burst was reported to us at around 5.45am and our engineers worked quickly to rezone supply, restoring water to all but three commercial properties in Westburgh Square by 7am.
“Some customers may also experience lower than usual pressure until the main is fully repaired.
“Two-way traffic lights are in place so work can be carried out quickly and safely and we hope to have everyone back on water by 3.30pm.“We would like to thank customers for their patience while this emergency work is carried out.”
