Air ambulance shop is highest flyer

THE Daventry air ambulance shop is the best performing for the charity just five months after opening.
The Foundry Walk store is one of 11 shops raising money for Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance and has 30 volunteers.
Manager Dawn Smith said: “We consistently, week in week out, top the sales table of all the other shops. That’s thanks to the hard work and enthusiasm of my staff and volunteers as well as the people of Daventry that support us by shopping regularly or donating items.
“Whether people give up one hour or one day a week we value all of them so much. We run a very professional shop but I also make sure we have fun too and make working or shopping here an enjoyable experience.”
