VILLAGES could be left without any buses and other passengers face major changes as bus services come under threat.
Northamptonshire County Council has said it wants to remove all subsidies it gives to bus firms.
Currently the council helps fund routes, or parts of routes, that have been deemed socially important but may not be commercially viable.
Removing the cash could lead to cuts in the number of services per day, the dropping of Sunday buses, or routes being scrapped altogether.
