Gun Dog Ales in Woodford Halse had an eye-catching way of delivering beer to The Plough Inn at Boddington when it used a shire horse to take the beer on its three-mile journey

James Pickering, at the brewery, said: “This was designed to show the true traditional method of delivering.

“After a long bumpy journey across a very busy roads suited to the more modern delivery vehicle we finally arrived at the Plough for a nice cool pint and a very warm welcome.

“The pub was crammed with drinkers and children, who got a chance to meet Wotty the shire horse.”
