A RUGBY training camp in Long Buckby has been teaching youngsters sporting skills this week.
The sessions, which are for children aged eight to 16, are running from 10am until noon every day until tomorrow (Friday) at a reduced cost of £5.
They have been organised by Daventry District Council as part of its activity programme over the school half term holidays.
Alex Le Guevel, sports development officer at Daventry District Council, said: “Unfortunately the weather has had an impact on the Rugby camp this week, and we had to cancel the session we had planned on Monday.
“However, it brightened up and all the children had a great time, so the sessions are set to continue for the rest of the week.”
Anyone who is interested can go along to Long Buckby Rugby Football Club or for more information phone Alex on 01327 871100.
