Children at Barby Church of England Primary School presented £160 to Guide Dogs for the Blind representative Hazel Worrall after fundraising at the school and the school shop.

Pupils enjoyed the chance to meet Cee-Cee, a puppy currently training full time to become a guide dog, before being presented with a certificate by Mrs Worrall thanking them for their efforts. The money will go towards the training and care of new guide dogs undertaken by the charity, which is entirely reliant on charitable donations. Guide Dogs maintain training centres across the country. If you would like to volunteer you can register at www.guidedogs.org.uk/supportus.
