The countdown is on for the grand finale to the Gusher’s year of fundraising for the Jago Worrall Foundation.
Providing the entertainment for the charity night at Fawsley Hall & Spa will be the Kettering based band Mr P.
Tickets are on sale for the Festive Charity Gala on November 15. The event aims to raise vital funds for two-year-old Jago Worrall, from Welton, who was left severely brain damaged after an accident in which he nearly drowned.
They have been performing since 1999 and are a four-piece live party band with vast experience of performing at pubs, weddings, corporate events, festivals, birthdays and special occasion parties.
The band, promoted by High Times Weddings and Events Agency, comprises Alan Patience on lead vocal and guitar, Eddie Giacobbe on bass, Darren Mayes on keys and Mark Varnfield on drums.
The line-up allows the band to cover a huge variety of songs not normally included in many function band’s repertoire, from modern pop hits to big band and swing.
Alan Patience said: “Mr P are delighted we can contribute to help Jago and his family, but it’s not just our contribution, but the effort from everybody involved from beginning to end, that will make this such an incredible night, which hopefully will raise much-needed funds to support Jago’s continued care”
The charity festive gala will take place in the Knightly Suite, arrival from 7pm.
The evening includes a four-course festive menu, live dancing to the band and an auction.
Tickets cost £65pp with the option of bringing a gift for under the Christmas tree which will later be passed on to Northampton General Hospital children’s ward.
There is also the option of accommodation on the night at a specially reduced rate of £150 per room (based on two people sharing and to include full English breakfast).
