A play bus pulled into Daventry on Tuesday for free sessions with the under-fives.

Jolly Jacks Play Bus parked up outside the Daventry East SureStart centre on the town’s Southbrook estate.
Charlotte Househam, locality delivery lead for Daventry, said: “It was really good fun and it was really exciting for the children to explore the different slides, ball pools and other activities. They all looked like they were having a great time.
“It’s the first time we’ve had the bus in Daventry. The idea is to give children something to do while their parents get a chance to see what we do at SureStart and register.
“The bus will be going to other centres across the area in the coming weeks.”
Jolly Jacks Play Bus will be at Braunston Village Hall on Monday, from 1pm to 3pm.
And on Wednesday, March 20, it will be at Kilsby Village Hall from 9.30am to 12.30pm, and then at staverton Road in Daventry from 1.30pm to 3.30pm.
Sessions on the bus are free and suitable for children aged up to five years.
