Air cadet Drew Hall from 497 (Daventry) squadron got to try his hands at adventure training activities over Easter at the cadet centre in Snowdonia.

Cadet Hall got to try out kayaking, rock climbing and hill walking. Cadets received tuition from trained instructors at the dedicated cadet centre in Llanbedr.

He said: “Kayaking was great fun and I can’t wait to have a go at canoeing soon too.” Squadron Commander Flying Officer Liz Chard added: “This is one of the many week long camps we’ll be running over the next few months as it’s all about encouraging cadets to try new things in 2015.

The Daventry Squadron is based in the cadet centre, Waterloo, Daventry and meets on Mondays and Thursdays between 7.30pm and 9.30pm.
