A BOLLARD in New Street was ripped out of the ground by vandals on Friday afternoon.
At some time between 4.20pm and 4.35pm a plastic bollard near Tesco was ripped from the ground and snapped at its base.

A female shopper pointed out three people responsible to police at the time, but left the scene before officers could take any further details from her.

Daventry Police would like this lady to come forward as well as any other witnesses to the incident or those that have information about it.

Police can be contacted on 08453 700700 and information can be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
