TRAINS heading through Long Buckby Station may face delays and cancellations due to a fault on the West Coast Mainline.
London Midland, which operates trains through the village, is warning passengers to expect short notice alterations, cancellations and delays of up to 60 minutes after there was a problem with overhead wiring near Hemel Hempstead.
The company has said it will be running a special timetable until further notice.
Network Rail engineers are currently working to solve the problem and an update will be given as soon as more information is known.
In the meantime valid London Midland and Virgin tickets are being accepted on both operators' trains in a reciprocal agreement.
London Midland services will operate north from London Euston at 13, 24, 46 and 54 minutes past the hour.
Services into London will depart Northampton at five, 25 and 50 minutes past the hours, and Milton Keynes at 47 minutes past.
The usual timetable services to and from Tring have been cancelled until further notice.
London Midland is aiming to strengthen its peak-time services from Euston by running three further 12-carriage trains.
