HUNDREDS of boxes of toys have been stolen from a HGV in Crick.
A trailer connected to a lorry was broken into at East Danes Way, Crick at just before 2am on Friday morning.

Two offenders loaded the toys into a seven-and-a-half-ton lorry before fleeing the scene when they were disturbed by a passing HGV.

The first offender is believed to be of average height, wearing a dark hooded top with white trainers while the second was of a similar height, slim build with short, dark brown hair.

He wore a black t-shirt with white writing on the front and dark jeans.

Any witnesses, or anyone with any information, should call Northamptonshire Police on 08453 700700 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
