NHS Northamptonshire has told people to remain calm over the problems with swine flu.
People are being advised to stay in their homes and remain calm and to look after yourself as if it was seasonal flu.

They have also said do not visit your GP surgery or a hospital as this may spread the virus.

People who are ill are being asked to get a friend to collect medicines or supplies.

This week it emerged at an un-named Daventry man had been diagnosed with swine flu. However, he has advised people not to panic and said he had suffered from 'worse colds'.

For more information if you are still concerned, call your GP or phone NHS Direct on 0845 4647.
