STAFF and pupils at Northampton College in Daventry are jumping for joy following news of an 90 per cent overall pass rate in today's A-level results.
A pass rate of 100 per cent was achieved in 15 A2 subjects at the college campus, in Badby Road West, Daventry, including art, business studies, geography, sport and law.
The overall pass rate of 90 per cent is a six per cent increase on last year's results.
Almost 400 AS and A2 exams were sat by students at the Daventry site over the last few months.
Vice principal of learning, John Bexson said: "Our learners at Daventry continue to make us proud. We would like to congratulate everyone who has done so well today at A-level and on our equivalent vocational courses. They have worked incredibly hard and should be very pleased with the grades they have achieved."
