PLANS for three new homes in Byfield were approved last night (Wednesday), despite objections from residents and the parish council.
The house, which will be built in High Street, were agreed at a meeting of the planning committee of Daventry District Council.
Also at the meeting, an application to convert Checkleys Barn in Daventry Road, Newnham, into a new home was refused and a new commercial vehicle maintenance unit on land off the A5/A428 at Crick was approved pending reports from the Highways and Environment agencies.
A reserved matters application for a new home in Daventry Road, Badby, was also approved.
For more on these decisions, see next Thursday's edition of the Daventry Express.
