WHAT'S in your imagination? Do you tell stories? Are you a writer of tales? Do you want to get into print?
If you think you can write a short story – about goodies, baddies, witches, spies, the school run, your untold dreams or anything you like – the Daventry Express may be able to help your dreams come true.

The Gusher, along with other newspaper tit
les owned by Johnston Press, is supporting a national competition to find the very best short stories from the UK.

The winners will also be chosen by you, the readers of the Daventry Express, and other Johnston Press newspapers.
Prizes will be awarded in the following categories: children, young adults and adults.
Winners from Daventry will go forward to a regional heat, which will be followed by the national final of the competition.
A glittering award ceremony could then mark the start of your writing career.
Winning entries will also be published in a compendium and be available to buy.

So if you want to get into print and get your story read by thousands of people, click here

You can also sign up to be a judge by following the online links.
The competition closes for author submissions on
March 17.
