A winning Lottery ticket worth more than £2.5 million bought in the Daventry area has gone unclaimed.

The ticket, bought in the south Northamptonshire or Daventry area, matched all six numbers in the Lotto draw on February 7, 2015.

The winning Lotto numbers on that date were 3, 6, 15, 17, 18, 35 and the bonus ball was 22.

The lucky ticket-holder, who would have won a total of £2,598,424, only had until yesterday (Thursday) to claim their prize.

But the person didn’t come forward and claim the money in time.

The windfall will now be put towards projects across the UK funded by The National Lottery.
