£15 million marina at Onley would cause congestion

PLANS for a newm arina with 585 berths have been criticised over fears it will increase congestion on the canal

A trade meeting with British Waterways (BW) and the British Marine Federation held at the Crossroads Hotel in Weedon saw around 40 business people object to the plans for the marina at Onley which could around £15 million.

They argue it would add to traffic problems on the canal network and there was no demand for it.
