AN OPEN gardens event with a tasty twist is heading to Hellidon over the bank holiday weekend.
On Sunday and Monday, 10 gardens will be open across the village to raise funds for the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance (WNAA).
The theme this year is ‘the edible garden’ with the focus being on encouraging visitors to grow their own edible plants and vegetable patches.
There will also be cookery demonstrations, a country singer performance and a range of refreshments including cream teas.
Entry for the event costs £4 for adults and £3 for children and concessions. Car parking is free.
