A duo of top artists from the same village have bought a display featuring different styles of artwork to the town.
The artists are Dr Tim Beer and the other is Hugo Bevan both from Everdon.
Their work can be seen at Daventry Library in North Street and the exhibition opened on Saturday.
They have both taken to art since retiring with Hugo’s work as painting landscapes and uses oil based paints to paint picturesque scenes of rural locations.
Tim’s work is based around sculptures.
There will also be further information about both of the artists available to visitors of the exhibition.
Horse racing fans will be very familiar with Hugo who was the clerk of the course at the nearby Towcester racecourse and is a well known and popular figure at the course.
It can be seen until Saturday June 5 during the library’s regular opening hours. It is open from 9am to 6pm on Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm on Saturday and between 1pm and 4pm on Sunday.
The library regularly hosts exhibitions from artists throughout the year.
