A BLUES festival will be coming to Eydon Village Hall next week.
The award-winning Eugene ‘Hideaway’ Bridges, pictured, will be performing at the village hall as part of a nationwide tour.
The American singer and guitarist was nominated in the categories of soul blues artist and soul blues album at this year’s Blues Music Awards.
Music is well and truly in his blood as his dad is the blues guitarist Hideaway Slim while his mother hails from the same family as Tina Turner.
Eugene will be supported by The Blue Road, a three-piece band with members from the village. Both acts will be performing in the Eydon True Blues Festival.
Doors open at 7pm on Saturday, October 15 and tickets cost £12.50. They can be booked by visiting the Royal Oak pub in the village or by calling Craig Cutler on 01327 260015.
