THERE was plenty of delight for the crowd at this year’s Cropredy festival.
Arriving in time to catch Romeo’s Daughter who rocked up the evening and warmed up an audience for Edward II. The unusual mix of world music, English folk and reggae was an enchanting and delightful mix.
No one left disappointed by the legendary Alice Cooper. Combining some of his classic songs into a weaved narrative and some brilliant theatrics, it made for a fantastic mix.
Highlights on Friday were The Moulettes, The Levellers and 10cc.
On Saturday Richard Digance was very good and had the audience on the feet while Jasper Carrott and Tom Robinson were the special guests and rounded off with Fairport Convention.
