Library hours change to include Sundays

LIBRARIES across the Daventry area will open on Sundays from this week.

In Daventry the library will now open 10am-6pm Mondays, 9am-6pm Tuesday to Friday, 9am-5pm Sat and 1pm-4pm on Sundays; a total of two fewer hours per week.

To mark its first Sunday opening this week the library has invited Dot Crowe, local artist and healer, along at 1pm to talk to people about meditation, followed by a half hour meditation session at 1.30pm.

Woodford Halse Library will now open 3pm-6pm Tuesday to Friday, 10am-2pm Saturday, and 1pm-4pm Sunday.

Brixworth and Long Buckby libraries keep the same hours as previously, but add on 1pm-4pm on Sundays.
