Review - Scooby Doo The Mystery of the Pyramid at The Belgrade Theatre, Coventry.

Scooby Doo and The Mystery of the Pyramid was a great family show, which our boys (aged seven and nine) laughed and giggled their way through. Scooby and the gang are in the desert to help beat the mummies and solve the mystery.

The characters were true to the cartoon and there were some classic lines thrown in such as “those meddling kids”. There was also a chase scene in the best tradition of Scooby-Doo.

The cast; Fred (Josh Little), Scooby Doo (Eddie Arnold), Velma (Louise Wright), Daphne (Julia Cave) were full of energy and fun and the show tunes had kids and parents clapping along. The dance routines were well choreographed and entertaining to watch.

Special mention has to be given to Shaggy (Danny Stokes) who was brilliant and got the audience laughing at his goofing around. It’s well worth a trip to see.
