A DISPLAY of people’s collections was the star attraction at the town’s museum.

Collectormania is a series of three events held at the Daventry Town Council Museum in New Street on Saturdays.

It enables people to share their passions, hobbies and collections with the visitors to the museum.

Among the collections was a gramophone, a wide variety of hats, a distinguished array of medals, beer mats and postcards.

Plans are now being formalised for the final event in the Collectormania series which is due to take place on Saturday November 3 from 10am to  4pm.

Entrance is free and there will be refreshments served.
