WEST Haddon Players will be performing their production of Run For Your Wife this month.

This hilarious farce chronicles the misfortunes of hapless London cabbie John Smith who has one taxi, two wives and a very tight schedule!

By strict adherence to this schedule, John has been a successful, if tired, bigamist for three years.

But one day he gallantly intervenes in a mugging and is taken to hospital with mild concussion.

In the ensuing complications, aided by an unwilling accomplice, John tries bravely to cope with a succession of well-meaning but prying policemen, the press, two increasingly irate wives and a gay neighbour.

Eventually he manfully confesses the truth – but will anyone believe him?

Run For Your Wife will be on stage in West Haddon Village Hall from Thursday, November 17 until Saturday, November 19 at 7.30pm.

Tickets cost £7 and £5 for concessions and are available now from Jane Porter at the box office on 01788 510503.
