There will be a month of quilts on display at a village store starting on Friday.

It is the summer exhibition at The Bramble Patch in West Street, Weedon and there will be plenty of quilts on show.

The exhibition is to host the summer showcase the work of the Traditional Quilt Group of the Quilters Guild of the British Isles.

Among some of the quilts that will be shown are to be themed around the Suffragettes and Maritime Moments.

Entrance to the event is £2 and the proceeds are to be donated to Macmillan Cancer Care.

The exhibition runs from Friday until Saturday August 30 and is open every day except Sunday and bank holidays between 10am and 5pm.

The Bramble Patch will also be holding a number of open days throughout August.

There will be different artists visiting the store and sharing some tips and tricks to help people improve their quilting.
