A DARK comedy will be coming to Rugby Theatre on Saturday.
Blood Money sees the action take place in the fabulous home of Mike and Elizabeth Mason, though it soon becomes obvious that they’re far from the perfect couple. Mike’s a cheesy TV game show host by day, and a philandering husband by night. Liz, meanwhile, is onto her husband’s indiscretions, including one involving girl-next-door, Sue.
They are bound together by a dark and grisly secret which gradually unfolds during the play.
Director Steve Orton said: “The play is really well written, though very slightly tongue-in-cheek. It’s brilliant how it maintains tension throughout as the plot shifts hither and thither.”
The show runs from Saturday to Saturday, November 23, starting at 7:30pm. There’s no performance on Sunday.
