A TALE of gothic romance will come to the stage later this month.
Choreographer Matthew Bourne’s version of Sleeping Beauty will be performed at Milton Keynes Theatre from Tuesday January 29 to Saturday February 2.
This timeless fairy tale, about a young girl cursed to sleep for 100 years, was turned into a legendary ballet in 1890. Heroine Aurora is at her Christening, when fairies and vampires fed the gothic imagination, before the story moves forward a century to the modern day.
Tickets for the show cost between £15 and £39.50. They can be booked by calling the box office on 0844 871 7652 or visit www.atgtickets.co.uk/milton-keynes-theatre.
