A CHRISTMAS concert will be coming to St Lawrence Church in Long Buckby later this month.
The Elation Community Voices’ 2013 Christmas Concert will take place on Saturday, December 14 at 7.30pm.
The choir will be singing a selection of well-known Christmas favourites along with some lesser known festive songs.
This is the group’s annual charity concert. All profits made on the evening will be donated to the choir’s current designated charity – The Motor Neurone Disease Association. The Northampton-based MNDA is the only national charity in England, Wales and Northern Ireland that funds and promotes global research and provides support for people affected by the disease.
The Elation Community Voices is looking for more tenor and bass members to join the choir.
People can join rehearsals on Monday evenings. For more details, email firstname.lastname@example.org. Tickets are £6, or £5 for concessions and can be bought from The Peacock, Buckby Newsagents or The Peephole.
