SUN, sea and sand will be be the setting for a show performed by the East Haddon Players.
The group will be performing Daytrip, an original piece written by its members.
The story takes us back to 1923 when the village’s coal merchant decides he is fed up with lugging coal and fancies a change of scenery.
So the budding entrepreneur organises East Haddon’s first trip to the seaside. Excitement mounts as the day-trippers make hurried plans for their big day out. But little do they know that it will change their lives forever.
The group, which formed 11 years ago, now has many new faces, including a new production and technical team.
The Players are promising an entertaining evening for the family with songs, laughter and happily-ever-after all the way.
Daytrip is being performed at East Haddon Village Hall from Thursday, March 22 to Saturday, March 24 with performances starting at 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £7.50 for adults and £5 for under 16s. To book contact Sarah on 01604 771167 or email email@example.com.
