A WILDLIFE artist will be appearing at the Evergreen Art Cafe in the town on Saturday.
The world-renowned animal and landscape artist Paul James will be visiting the cafe for an exhibition of his latest work between 11am and 3pm. He will also be on hand to speak about his work.
Paul said: “I used to regard myself essentially as a landscape artist, but more recently I’ve become known for my animal portraiture and urban imagery.
“Although many of my pieces are serious compositions, I do occasionally like to have fun and so some pictures have elements of humour in them.”
He is a self-taught artist and has been professionally painting since 1986.
Visitors to the exhibition can see three exciting new releases, several original pieces and a large collection of limited edition prints.
Art sold during the event will include a personal, signed dedication by the artist.
Admission to the event is free.
