A musical based on a classic film is on at Milton Keynes Theatre.
Direct from the West End Top Hat returns to the stage after its hugely popular 2011 debut.
It tells the story of Jerry Travers, played by Alan Burkitt, the famous American tap dancer, arrives in London to appear in his first WestEnd show. Travers meets the irresistible Dale Tremont, portrayed by Charlotte Gooch, the girl of his dreams, and follows her across Europe in an attempt to win her heart.
It brings the glamour of Hollywood’s Golden Age to life and has tap dancing magic. Songs performed include Let’s Face the Music and Dance, Cheek to Cheek and White Tie and Tails.
The show runs until Saturday September 6. Tickets cost between £21.50 and 43.50 and they can be booked by calling the box office on 0844 871 7652 or visit www.atgtickets.co.uk/miltonkeynes.
