Best village competition opens
ENTRY forms are now available for the 2012 Northamptonshire Best Village Competition.
The competition is open to all villages with a population of less than 6,000 people and is organised through Northamptonshire ACRE, which is a county wide rural charity.
The competition is now in its third year and celebrates all that’s good about village life.
Entry forms have been emailed or posted to every parish clerk in the county, and the closing date for the competition is Wednesday, March 28.
The winner will be picked at a presentation evening on July 24.
