£250,000 Extras’ Appeal is launched
to give Daventry’s super new hospital
the best patient facilities money can buy
“RECENTLY, I was delighted to be asked to support the Danetre Hospital Extras’ Appeal – a campaign to raise £250,000 to fund extra facilities at Daventry’s new hospital that will make the difference between basic care and
fantastic care.
“Standard equipment for the new hospital will be provided by the NHS, but we would like added extras such as special beds and furniture to make it more comfortable for patients.
“When you’re ill in hospital it’s the extras that make the difference to feeling much better, so this is really worthwhile.
“This is a wonderful facility for Daventry and the surrounding area which will benefit everyone and I hope people are feeling generous and are able to support this
campaign.
“Daventry is very lucky to get this, it is very good for the town and the hospital will be able to provide much better care.
“This is an ideal time to start raising the money so the funds are there when the hospital opens.
“Two hundred and fifty thousand pounds is a good proportion to raise but I’m sure it will be raised
with enthusiasm.
“It’s great the Daventry Express is supporting this appeal and I hope everyone in and around Daventry also supports it as it will benefit them and their families. I wish the fundraisers the best of luck.”
